PM M1910 (Machine Gun) Strong Point (Artefacts Tour)

As you explore the Viapori Land Fortifications, along many of the front-line trench lines you'll find these well-fortified concrete strong points, used to facilitate the installation and operation of the standard Russian machine gun, the PM M1910. Informally, these well-fortified concrete strong points are called "machine gun nests."

These machine gun nests are a standard size throughout the entirety of the Viapori Land Fortifications, and can be recognised easily once you become familiar with their dimensions and other features. There are some variations, because of the specific function within the fortifications, and we can discuss those together when we encounter them.
